Dropping out of school

That's what I'm going to do today. My heart is just not into this whole 3D thing. I'm not bad at it, I'm just so far behind there is no light at the end of the tunnel anymore and I can't find a decent job with my school hours. I'm nearly half a month late with my rent and I'm so stressed right now It's making me physically sick. I know where I can get a job immediately, but it conflicted with school hours but now I'm going there after I talk with the program advisor at my school. I'm not a quitter, I just don't like spending 15,000 doing something I don't want to do anymore.

:hug: Doing something you don't like is the worst thing one can do. It's hell. Personally I'd never do a job I don't like. I don't care about payment, as long as it's enough to sustain me and I like the job. Thus, I would never learn something I don't like.
I wonder if I can ever get a job that fits me. XD

*hugs you tight* I hope things work out for you. If you do not enjoy 3d I must agree that changing course is probably the right move. Take the new job, let the stress levels drop and then you can again look to your future and decide where you want to go next. Good luck!

I'm sorry to hear of your predicament. It isn't nice doing something you hate - a major factor I had when trying to get a job. In other words, I'm picky. Anyway, I hope things work out for you.

I am so right there with you on this one! I had the same issue going around my head back in the beginning of February. There's no point in wasting your money on something you don't want to do anymore. I'm not a quitter either - it's just something you have to do for yourself. Otherwise it will drive you crazy and stress you out way more than need be. I wish you luck in all you do - I assure you it will get better :heart: :hug:

I approve! If you don't like doing it, there's no sense in paying a lot of money to learn it. If you're happier with a regular job, then you may not want to go back. If you're not happy with a regular job, then give some thought to what you think you'd like to do. Give yourself time. Big decisions shouldn't be rushed. I wish you my best.

Really? I'm glad I'm not alone in this. I am pretty sure I've made my decision, I just have to find the person I'm supposed to talk about it to. She's like, never around.

Yeah... me too. For the longest time, I really let their opinions about the things I did what was decisions I made rule me. But then I realized they're them and I'm me, and they really wouldn't know what was best for me, since they don't know what I'm thinking or how I feel about things. I dunno about your family. I should hope they'll understand.
